Thanks to my new sponsor and companies this season!

Picked up a new sponsor this year:

R&R CYCLES!!! and they have been so meticulous it ain't even funny . Words can not describe the help, insight and personal attention me and the 12 are receiving! Thanks Rick Beggs! From a flexible schedule to several calls a day to troubleshooting to measuring tolerances over and over to the mm, this guy is a class act, a die-hard road racer who just ran 2nd and 3rd @ Daytona in the GTU class!

ACE PERFORMANCE: Sal & Co. for the tips including candid data with regards to results from his bearings...just ordered a set of ceramic wheel bearings from World Wide Bearings (FANTASTIC DEAL!!!! NO BULLSHIT!) Yes, we are lining up this Fall @ 9/10....REMATCH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TWIN JUGS: Todd and Deb for helping me out w/the 12 (who knew you need headlights at night) and for the CUSTOM chest/back protector and parts for C-H-E-A-P! I'd like to think that I had maybe 5% influence on Todd getting the gixxer but that may be 4 too high Looking forward to burning it up @ Maxton, always a pleasure talking speed w/people that have my endurance and passion on the topic! I can keep a secret if you can

R&D in FL: These guys kept their word with prompt service and fair pricing....looking forward to beating the living snot out of my fully upgraded transmission! You will NOT feel rushed w/these guys on the phone!

Fairfax Cycles: EXCELLENT PRICES and EXTREMELY FRIENDLY STAFF who MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE HAPPY and truely care about their work!

There are several individuals who have helped me too along the way but I didn't want this to become a long laundry list, they'll get their props and recognition soon, promise.

Looking to run at TX 3/24 and 3/25 .... Smash 200 and maybe walk away with a record or 2 Thanks .... and remember what goes around comes around!

LOL ... funny guys. But I am pretty serious. I am a yapper....ALL of these people will yap with me as much as I am willing to talk....they are purists and truthfully, good help is hard to find. I appreciate the little tidbits of info that have helped make me a little bit faster here and there.....discussing theories.....bang for the buck mods.....all the stuff that matters in the end. All of them have done that. The hospitality I have received with Sal, Todd/Deb, Rick and Fairfax Cycles is unbelievable....as you go faster and faster and get more serious you realize less and less people are out there that can relate to you or give a flying fack about it.

What a JOKE! I did 4 track days last year (@ summit and VIR) aboard my gixxer 600 race bike, 7 the previous year on my cbr 600, I land speed race, drag race and street race. Why on earth would I take a 500+ lb bike that is lowered front and rear to a track say when I have 600s set up for roadracing for that?

What makes you qualified to say what real racing is anyways? I have so much fun draggin knee as I do feeling the hair stand up on the back of my neck as I sweep past 200 mph at the traps. I'm giving props to the people who are helping me out, seperating the fake facks from the real ones so that others know in case they need some stuff done. Its easy to get SCREWED OVER in this day and age, trust me.

Don't like what I have to say about all of it? Who gives a shit.

Call it what you want to.....when I'm the break 210 mph this year we'll see if you guys are still talking

When I break 220 mph next year we'll see who's yapping.....

And when I turbo and keep inching towards 250 mph we'll still see who's yapping....

No more yapping there suspension-squishers.....walk the walk .....

.....don't be scuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuured.

It's good to have goals Ship! Goals keep us alive! Goals keep us from sitting down and rotting too!

Good luck with 210, 220mph and so on! Just stay alive and shut'er down if anything don't feel right. Don't let too much pride take your life if you feel awkward at those speeds.

I'm not much into shit talkers....but I do appreciate and respect people with goals that don't let others bring them down with negativity.

Other than me not liking your shit talking most of the time, I do wish you the best on your journey to some high speeds on the 12!

no problemo!

I would like to point out shit talking between me and Shane is friendly ribbing....he's a local cat that runs lsr and strip w/me.

Others I've noticed will usually "cast the first stone" so when I am quick to throw down the guantlet it tends to ruffle some feathers. But truth be told I'm pretty humble about what I have done....and I have a LONG way to go in terms of MPH and the learning curve that comes with it!

You are right about shutting it down...I do tend to ignore the voice when things get a little outta hand, some of it is due to pride. Not enough 12s out there so last thing I want is the busa boys and others to think "oh, look, that 12 only went xxx mph" or some crap. Its a little childish.....I'll admit.....but yeah, I'm working on being more about quality runs instead of quantitiy runs that are questionable in terms of safety/stability/common sense, etc.
