Radial Forks?

Anyone know if you can upgrade the early lower fork tubes to the radial type?

Are ZX10 forks a straight swop size wise, using a spring upgrade, spindle size etc?

That's a good question. I'd like to know myself..................if the whole fork assembly would fit a 12............a guy could swap wheels also. Hell of a brake and wheel upgrade for the 12 huh?

...what's the diff between the radial brakes of the 12R and the 10R?....I was thinking about maybe one day swapping the radial system of the later 12R onto my early non-radial 12R just because is looks sexier and probably works better...

What we need to know is diameter of the zx10r forks upper stanchions.
And the axle diameter?

If the axle is the same you could use a 12r or 10r wheel.

You would need longer brake lines cause the radial line coupling is lower.

You'd also need 310mm discs or some 10mm spacers on the caliper mounts.

If the springs are different rates thats easily sorted.

Performance wise you get improvement from less flexing, 4 pads a caliper, better geometery is more efficient.

I am getting custom spacers made for the 10's swing arm and the 6's pivot bolt and waiting on my upper triple and then reassembling the bike with a new paint job. Amped!!!!
