Yes it will work fine. It is also a couple of pounds lighter than the 02 crank.

You speaking from experience, or what you've been told, regarding the fit?

It will fit. Trust me. I've been down this road before.

Keep your 02 magnet and stator. Bolt them up to the 00 crank and off you go. The reason you need the 02 magnet and stator is because the electrical connectors on the rectifier are different on the 00 and 02.

Cheers for the info

You probably know why I am asking, and want to make sure.

The starter/gearbox gears are the same pitch/size?

That crank/flywheel combo should make it spin up a little nicer. Osti33 has one mean monster motor!

No. Mine is a little smaller than 1427. My current setup is a 86mm bore and 60mm stroke. I think it comes out to about 1394 or 1395cc's. I can't remember off the top of ny head. I just moved up a little from a 1375 motor.

what power is it making?
did you have clearance probs with rod bolt crankcase?
How many miles you done on it?
Any overheating probs?

Yeh I know, I'm worse than the feckin police for questions...

I think my old 1394 made 207 or 209 on c16 fuel and not much of a map with out timing, it was a rush job the day before The Texas Mile.

If you use non-stock rods there is a little clearance issue on the starter and only one small spot on the cases. I forget which side and I just did it on the new cases the other night.

I have seen some street ones that have lasted 4-5+ years (1361, 1375) and are still going strong. Johnny Cheese built.

In Texas Traffic, 00 Model, Yes. There are things that can be done though. Ceramic coats, bigger or dual fans, manual or early fan temp. switch, move radiator forward, larger radiator...........

Osti33 knows way more than I do however. I am just a novice who hung around a shop for a couple of years. I am better at tearing stuff apart than putting it back together.

I'll try to answer your questions the best I can. Here goes...

"what power is it making?" Not 100% sure. I just recently put this motor together and haven't had it to the dyno yet. The last build before this made about 217-218hp on VP U2 fuel. I have since bumped the compression up about a half a point. Probably good for a couple of hp.

"did you have clearance probs with rod bolt crankcase?" Yes. I had to clearance the cases because the nuts on the rod bolts on number 4 rod hit the cases. I just ground it out until I had 1mm of clearance. I am running stock rods so I didn't have to clearance the starter gear.

"How many miles you done on it?" Not many on this motor. I don't street ride the bike anymore. It is a race only bike. I put several thousand miles I my 1375 before I made it a race only bike.

"Any overheating probs?" Again, I don't street ride the bike so no problems there. However, I never had any problems with my 1375 overheating but I didn't ride it when it got above about 90 degrees F outside.

Hope this helps you out.

Good info thanks, very helpful.
Your 1394cc should be in the mid 220 bhp area then..excellent

Did you use the RC 370cc injectors?
