Being a personel trainer I would like to add something. First you need to eat 500 cals less than the cals you burned that day. This is the safest way to loss wieght. Any more than 2 pounds a week in fat loss is not safe. If you are lossing muscle, water and fat then you will loss more wieght. But if you are looking for a healther body then the way you eat is the most important. Fat does not burns cals while muscle does. So the more muscle you have the more cals you will burn. By eat each aday you are starving your body. You natural energy level will be gone and when you get off the pills you will turn to your regular body wieght.

Good advice Fastestr1. That's exactly what I'm doing. I'm still eating, but reducing my portions appropriately. Due to my injuries over the years, running isn't really an option. But I'm walking about four miles a day, and watching my intake, so keeping the activity level up should really help burn the cals. The biggest bummer is the knee. I've had ortho on it, but I still can't run, it just starts blowing up on me. So walking is about as ambitious as I can get. If I can get to my goals this way, that'll work for me.

Thats my troubles can't walk well at all.... Had my shinbone break on left leg, ankle on right(pinned and screwed back together).. Lost a couple of inches of shin bone on left leg... Replaced it with hip bone... Also ankle only has a 65 to 75 percent range have a hard time walking up hills... And toes are curled like hammertoes...... So walking is not a option for me.....

I have DJD in both knees, right should has inpingment with bursideis and a compressed T11 with 25% bone loss. I use the bike, walk on a tread mill at a incline of 8-10 degress 3.0 mph or swim. If you walk instead of run just double the time you walk to burn round the same cals. I am the all natural masters over 35 Hawaii bodybuilding champ and compete at 176 middle wieght.
So depending on your type of injury walk, swing or bike but you need to do cardio and life wieghts to receive max results along with a good meal plan. Maybe if I get more clinets I can buy the hindle ____________

zx12richard ....this tip is for you..... swimming and upper body work will help your legs. My father was hit by a car while riding his bike. His leg has been broken since the accident (two years ago). He has had some progress after several operations. But the key to his rehabilitaion, has been the pool, the sauna, the hot tub and the therapist. Who ever thought his "kid" could teach him a thing or two. Live one day at a time with one goal at a time....you will get there! Best wishes!

The catch 22... For swimming is: If you are fat, you damn sure don't want to take off your shirt in public, so you can swim for exercise, get in shape and look good enough to take off your shirt in public.

I have lost 15 lbs in two weeks. 265 down to 250. I feel alot bettr about myself. My girlfriend lost 75 lbs and looks awsome. She watches our fat intake more than anything else. That combined with some serious dirtbiking is sheding the weight fast.

u must have put on alot since i met u last swft, u sure as hell werent 245 back then! but good job on all youse who lost the weight. wish i had that problem! and i come from a family that believes very strongly in the swimming routine. no impact, burns tons of juice, and good for strength and energy building. and who cares if u look like a whale in the pool. doubt anyone else cares what u look like there!
