No Longer "Bike" Week! Now it is Trailer Week!

uhm....I have to ask, has any of your bikes been trailered to events?

Never been
Trailered Ever! (Safe inside my Van with me! If anything was going to be outside, It would be me )

I have ridden 1,000 Miles in 1 day (But it was not planned! Could not find a Place to stop! Left Toledo Ohio and by way of Detroit went to see Lang Hindle in Uxbridge Canada then down to his Shop on Toronto and then the Nigara Falls, then the wrong way on 79 for 20 miles (total of 40 to come back) then a Back road 231 (I think) up and down the Mountains until 3 am the next day until I found a place that was open. Started 7 AM so I rode on and off but was awake for 20 hours straight!)

I pulled 1000 mile days on my '91 ZX11. DC to New Orleans, New Orleans to Sarasota, St. Pete to MD.
The St. Pete to Maryland trip I made in 10.5 hours averaging nearly 100 mph with 5 gas stops! talk about your LSR's.

H2 you are scarring me! My ride was on my 92 ZX11C When I left DC for Toledo I had a Head Cold and it was so bad that I finally had to stuff a Paper towel in my helmet to drip on and every Hour I had to pull over to seriously blow my nose

I'm with you Vince, never wanted to qualify for Iron Butt, just too cheap to get a hotel room and too impatient to ride for 15 hours

Let's see, where to start........
Starting riding 'cause my Dad did and I spent quality time with him. Kept riding because of the friends I've met through motorcycling, living at the foot of Deals Gap is icing on the cake.
Raising both my sons straddling bikes is the best. My wife says we are all closer because of bikes, now the roles are reversed and I am the Dad like my Pop was.
Like Harry said, 'cause I still can. As time catches up I can sense my reflexes and coordination slipping but I still have the desire and there is goals to reach before I run my last tank out.
Here's to you my friends, each of you who I know in person and the ones I have yet to meet. Thanks for being a big part in "Why do we ride".
