Can someone please ID these fasteners?

TIA-

My 12 has been torn down since a coyote going full speed got my front end while I was at about 50 MPH in a sweeper back in June.

Getting it back together, now and will try to sell it. With the 07 14, I probably won't be riding it very much?

I have the two stubby hex-head fasteners left over. The Phillips head hold the tank cover on by the front seat, right?

I remember doing this once before, but I am officially brain dead!

Ray

The two big ones hold the tank cover on under the seat . That other one I need to see the top to tell but it looks like the one that goes in the front corners of the tank cover

If the 'stubby' hex heads are for the tank cover, by the front seat, I think I know where the big Phillips came from?

I used a wing nut to hold the toolbox bucket in the bike, so one of the Phillips is a spare, but I ended up with two of them?

Damn it!

Thanks

One of the problems is that after owning an 00 and now an 02 since new, I had a bag of screws and misc from odering extras.

I think the other phillips is for the front fender. also used to hold the rear storage box in place.

hmmm, the third one does look like f fender and could also be one of the 2 screws holding the coolant overflow tank on

Bingo!! I think Karl has it. The black Coolant tank has 2 of the large head Black Phillips. What may have happened is any 6 MM Screw or Bolt will fint in these places and may have been put there and yes the Tank Cover does have 2 of the other screws where the seat hides them.

What does this show about some ZX12R Owners?? That they have taken their bike apart too many times!

I think Entropy is right but the short black phillips head screws are also used on the chain guard too.

Thanks all,

I used to have these all memorized with every cuss word associated with removing each one. :-)

The tool box uses the large phillips type, my chain guard / hugger is custom. Maybe it did come off the front fender, that is where the coyote hit me.

I thought that I had removed them on this disassembly, maybe not.

I was too upset after replacing the damn battery, again!
