Kawazuki Streetfighter

Hello

I got my bike from ebay in damaged condition with missing: CDI, front discs, silencer, clocls most of the fairings as you can see on the pictures...

The front light is for hayabusa but my alu-home made frame didnt work so I need to do that again. The mudguard is from oilcooled gsxr 750 (my 1st streetfighter) and fits perfectly
Polished rims, swinging arm, and visible part of the subframe.
The can is an ART not for the road but I polished that out :P . It sounds nice.
Rear LED light is integrated with indicatiors and I'm very happy with it cuz dont need any extra indicators to the rear It cost me £60 + P&P from ebay and it is worth buying.
The rearsets are SATO Racing in black and looks very nice.

So what do you think ???

Lose the BFUGLY upper fairing and I'd like it. I like the ZX12R streetfighter concept, just not with a BFUGLY fairing on it.

Hunt you some 12 body panels! Catylist makes some great stuff that don't cost a lot.

Where does Your motor gets it's air? It looks like the RAM-air inlets are taped - or does it just look like that?

WTF is that blanket on the tank....looks pretty ugly!!!???? And the bugly upper is quite hideous.

I have often thought of buidling a naked 12R...but not like this one...

The tank cover kinda kills it for me...but , I definetely appreciate someone diggin' in, and saying f##k it, lets see what we can come up wit here!
I think if you could get the front fairing tucked in closer, it would be pretty cool. From the front, it looks good to me. Those ram air inlets aren't really taped, are they?? It'll run like a sumbitch with out it,lol

The engine feal fine with air. Inlets are covered with a mesh about 2-3mm.
Tank cover is a baglux made and I decide to use it cuz the zx12 tank is a plastic thing and no good for and tank bag or a map holder which use a magnets. I dont like the color and it is not real leather so I will propably take it to a bootmaker so he can make a proper 1 for me. The luggage rack will be used for long turist runs.
Now, the light. Its not easy to find a good streefighter light. There is many cheap lights on the market but totaly useles especialy when driving during a night. The light i got there cant be any closer to the bike cuz than there is no roon for your fingers to change the bulbs and the screen it close to the helmet when riding.
ZX12R is not the best bike for a streetfighter project but i like it and on the summer I'll drive form London to Turin to Poland and back to London as a test drive.

Great bike! The bootmaker thing is interesting. Here in Florida an upholstery shop would probably be the only option for that custom work.

You might try a ZXR Fairing To keep it Kawasaki. I have a large tank Bag and it uses 4 straps and if that is a grill then paint it black and get a chain Guard "AFTER: you tighten the Chain!
