Broken Carbon Fiber
I have a rear hugger made by Hans. I broke the tab off that bolts to the left side of the swingarm.
Any suggestions on the best way to fix it.
Epoxy...???
Hans.... you out there?

Tim, I spoke with DaveinDaytona and his was slightly damaged in the same place. He fixed it himself, but said Hans would repair it for a small charge. I think Dave said he used JB Weld.

Mine broke during my crash. It was one on the rear mounting hole and was one of those breaks that fit nicely back together. I called Hans and he offered to fix it but I thought I'd save the trouble of shipping it and try it myself. I got the piece back together and taped the side that shows and put a layer of JB weld (red neck, I know) on the back but not inbetween the crack so it wouldn't show. The next day it looked good, was a strong fix, and isn't easily detected that it's been cracked.

Thanks
Thanks Fella's, I'll give it a try. It was a very clean snap. The pieces fit together perfect.
Again Thanks,
Tim
