wiring connectors
any one found a way of tidying up the wires that can be seen, as you look in to the side of the engine, it looks cheap. and spoils a good bike.

I would be interested in knowing as well. I thought it looks tacky the way the wires are all exposed.

I hadn't thought about it but most auto parts stores sell spiral wrap or some such stuff in different diameters for making a wire loom thus hiding individual wires.

Mean something like this?
I have been playing around and have a pretty decent template made for the left side. Is this what you are looking for?

I will be working on the right side, it is a pain. If there is interest in how I did this once I am done, I will be willing to divulge my secrets! LOL!
Give me some time for the other side, it is warming up in N. Ind. and I plan on getting in some quality riding time!

I would be interested for sure...give me more info please.
Just a thought, but...should they be vented so heat doesnt get trapped in. The engine gets hot enough as it is, let alone without some ventilation. I dunno for sure though.

I was thinking the same thing. It won't be hard to cut a U that matches the big vent in front and bend it back a bit. This would create a low pressure area as you are moving to pull the heat out. I will try to do this and take some more pics.
I am surprised that the carbon people haven't tried to come up with an extension piece that totally matches to the existing plastic, covering the reservoir and all, with some venting. You would think this would go over pretty well.
