Mad Mike: defending our honor?
The Boss Hoss guys are waiting for all rice burners @ Earlville on June 22. Who is going to defend the 12's honor? Better be someone besides me. Remember, I have never run my 12 on a dragstrip. How about it Mike?

Man I have a points race that day,,, oh man I think I might have to skip it. and show up to race a couple of those boss hog's... anyone else going to come to the show... I know DWB said he would be there... where are they talking about kicking our butts at.... I might have to go and stir the pot...

oh Earlville is in the north east side of Iowa, about 3 hours from des moines and 1 1/2 hrs from davenport, so what about 4 hours from chicago???

I'll be there. That's my home track, track champion the last two years. My 2002 ZX12R should be running good by then. Not even broke in (900 mi.), and I ran a 9.60 at 147mph last Sunday. (I weigh 205 lb) The Midwest Streetbike Nationals is what the race is called on June 22, and it's all bracket racing (as far as I know). Last year they had a $1000 to win street bike race for all brands. There should be classes by brand name also, and you can run multiple classes to bring in the cash. No slick or box, but they do allow wheelie bars (for safety?) I'll be looking forward to seeing some Boss Hosses get on the track. I'm sure they will make a great bracket bike (right). I won ET bike and Pro bike last Sunday, and the NHRA Box Bike National Champion was there. Bring on the Boss Hosse's (that don't even sound right)

By the way, if you look on a map, Earlville is on Highway 20, about 30 miles west of Dubuque. The track is on the South side of the Highway. Can't miss it. (famous last words). There is camping available at the track, and an ET street bike race the Sunday after the Midwest Streetbike Nationals. The track is one of only a couple of all concrete drag strips in the county, and you will get in some great times. If you come out, look me up and I'll help you out however I can. There we go HotRod ,you smoke the stock one's and I'll smoke the Modded one's heck if your running 9.6's already you will probably smoke the Modded one's.... LOL.. I'm changing my plan's and Im going to be there for this one!!! I cant wait... anyone in the area should come to this event!! lets have a gathering....

PLEASE
Someone PLEASE get a video camera there and film this. Myself and friends at work have been following the whole 12 vs boss hoss thing for a while now and would love some footage of them getting their ass' handed to them.

Hotrod, if you're the guy with the blue ZX-12, my brother said he was very impressed with your runs. He says the Boss Hosses may as well stay home. Unfortunately, he can't be there. But I'll be there, video camera in tow.

ZX12Girl, In my humble opinion, you not only ought to talk to your husband, you ought to make it a family affair. First you whip up on the Boss Hoss crew with the 12, and then you whip up on them with the Busa!

Finally....I might get to meet a few of ya......only about 3-4 hours from me! I ride with two other 12's so I might be able to get them to ride down with me. I will keep an eye on this post and try to keep the date open.
