front sprocket removal help?

Okay.... can someone gimmie some front sprocket removal details etc and let me know if I can do it WITHOUT an impact gun?

The only info I have is its going to be a bitch without an impact...... And the socket is 27MM on the front sprocket... Its pretty much loosen the rear axle make chain loose as possible and remove front sprocket cover... After that its going to be tough to break that nut loose........... Make sure you bend the edges of the lockwasher down so 27MM nut will turn....

I think they go for right at 100 bucks.

Swft gets an impact and now he's an expert!! The impact does make it easy. But in a pinch the 2 X 4 or 2 by 2 works with a long ratchet for leverage. In a pinch, the Pro's (HRC, Suzuki, Yamaha etc.) put a tee handle in between the chain and sprocket. SO you be the judge.

Oh yeah, don't forgrt while everyone is yelling at you about not having an impact; You need to torque the nut with a torque wrench. Ie. if the torque wrench can put it on it can take it off!!!
