exhaust header studs

anyone know the tourqe setting?.....thanks in advance

I'm guessing about the same as the header nuts, not much, like 12 ft/lbs??

I don't think they need to be torqued.I would just double nut them and using red loctite,snug them down good.

loctite med strength high temp= max service temp 450 deg F


this may be of some use but these are max values I believe

I would not use red loctite on the nuts... you will turn the studs right out of the head...

LOL... I have had them come out without loctite...
I had a used motor I bought that had a bunch of miles on it and had been sitting for a while...
and I think 3 studs turned out...
I can not imagine what it would be like using loctite...
