A Model plastics have gone through the roof?

Okay, so I am finally getting all my A1's plastic ready to go to the painter and discover the rear cowl I bought has a hairline crack around one of the main rear sub-frame mount points.

So..... I go out and start checking ronayers, bikebandit, etc.... and I am finding the price of plastic for this bike has almost doubled in two years.

I have the receipt for the last RH lower cowl I bought from RA for this bike sans decals and pads it was $328.

It's now $480

For a fucking lower????

Tell me I am having a bad nightmare, please.

Never heard of catalyst. Who sells their stuff, or do they have a web site?

Thanks,

She was red CR, but she's going to be green.

I've given up on the rape, pillage and plunder that factory plastics involve. $ almost 500 for one lower without pads or decals? Sorry, that fucking ridiculous and it won't matter but I want Kawasaki to know it.

Full set of Catalysts on order as soon as they call me Monday. My painter is being patient, LOL...

I believe that was Crazy Larry's motto. We all know what happened to him.... I'm sure I'm not the only one who would not like to see the same thing happen to you or anyone else for that matter

That coming from a man doing his best to break 200 mph eh Vince?

I'm pretty sure Crazy Larry was talking about Dirty Mary when he said that, too. LOL

I may be a little too late. New to this board and trying to give my input and help. Try this site if you need plastics for your 12.

I'm positive there was something going on with Ayers website.

I triple checked the other day (two days actually) and that lower was showing up for $480 for the A1.

Now it's showing up as a superceded/replaced part for $294 as you stated.

Not a big deal for me as I'd decided on the Catalyst parts anyway.
