Very good looking pipe designed and made by the Original designer of the Ti-Force..You also cannot take anything from that either because the owner of Pizza John's was originally part of Pizza Hut and I love Pizza Hut and hate Pizza John's

Don't be naive. Product usage is a business arangement determined by who offers the best deal. The products are rarely the same as offered to the general public, they built to the specs requested by the team.

I have said something similer to him in the past, teams use certain things not because its the best but because they sponsor the team or series.
Example Nascrap, No Hoosiers,McCreays or other brands there.....
When I was working for Pirelli doing tires at the track we lost teams that wanted to stay on Pirellis cause Pirelli wouldn't buck up...
I know folk that left us for Dunslop and hated them but they got more free tires from them than us...

With all due respect Mr. Meyer, I don't think KHI would blink if they didn't get sponsorship money from Akrapovic. I'm not going to pretend to know all the logistics behind it all... but saying a factory Kawasaki motogp team needs the support of an exhaust company is kinda ridiculous. I can understand privateer roadrace teams needing the support... but not full on factory machines or the guys who set LSR records.

Phantom,
In the 70's I was an engne builder for a major car team (Can Am, F-5000, F-1) sponsored by a company called UOP (Universal Oil Products, later aquired by Allied Signal). UOP paid our team (Shadow Racing) millions to promote Lead Free gasoline because they made the additives that the major oil companies used to formulate their lead free blends.
Though our cars were plastered with "Lead Free UOP" logos we were not hesitant to purchase Union 76 race gas and bring it to the track in unmarked barrels. You would be amazed how many two stroke teams run the oil of their choice without regard to the well paid for stickers on their bikes.
Race team budgets are tight and make no mistake, the amount paid to run major products will make any team manager blink. Ridiculous? Not in the least.
And, as I said, for the most part the parts run are merely manufactured by the sponsor to the specs requested by the team since they do their own development. Especially in the area of exhaust and fuels, the needs of the race bike are so different from the needs for the consumer that it really makes no difference.
I am not saying that you should not support the sponsor of your choice, I have made a living in racing and without consumer support of sponsors that would not have been possible. Teams depend on your support of the sponsors to keep the money flowing. But, you should know that you are paying for the support, not equivalent technology.
In many instances you might be better served to choose your parts based the performance of bikes like yours not, six figure one-offs.

Along with what DM Said you Seriously have to "LISTEN and Watch" the Commercials. Several Antifreeze Companies were sponsoring the NASCAR Race teams and we all Know (At least we should all know) that you cannot have anything in the Race car except Water because Antifreeze is even harder to clean up than Oil.
In one commercial the Car Driver says "We use Peak Antifreeze in my family car and on my race car" Note the word "ON"?? Because they had the Decal

Tell Lang & Lee Hello for me Are you closer to the Factory down town Toronto or his home in Uxbridge? Yes they make great pipes, and I would use no other. It was not always like that but it is now specially with their Step tube
