wot full exhaust system is best on the 12 r with a power comm 3 ?
hi, guys,
im getting a new full exhaust system on my 02 12r, but dont know what to get? spoilt for choice. !!!!!!!. money no object, so any one know which one gives the most bhp, and also will get the women and guys wetting them selves with desire when they look at it ? cheers big ears. from kevvnn, in the little old united kingdom.( wales )

They "say" Akro is the best. I have a Muzzy and I am happy with it. Hindle, Yoshimura, and D & D are also some good brands. Buy the one that makes YOU happy with the $$ you have to spend on it. Ride it and enjoy!!

Yeh, the vote and general opinion seems to indicate that Akro + PC III is the "best..."

eh... u can argue the point for weeks. a;ways someone comes up with someething new & better, like the mystical serpent pipe, the tsukigi mentioned just yesterday i think, or whatever. i figure it's so little of a difference that it's not worth spending the big $$ for those extra 2 horses, especially given that one bike will produce severla HP more or less than the next right out of the box. buy whatever pipe u like the look of and offers a decent price. i understand the akra is on the pricey side. my top choies would be hindle (cause they'r canadian) but even more so muzzy, cause they'r reasonably priced & are the kawi specialists after all. hey, doesnt hurt that they are kind enough to sponsor the site either!

The new Hindle is amazing I have two now and like the no more idle problem, stock filters and no PC3. Just my .02

I'm real happy with my Akro, It went on real nice,no fairing clearence problems on my 02 , Idles good with no PC, sounds good.

Mine was made by this Japanese company. I can't remember their name and they don't put it in big letters on the pipe either, so I can't look there. It idles fine, and the bike makes decent power with it. Believe it or not, it even has a catalyst inside of it, plus it has a titanium canister! It really gets looks wherever I go. I wish I could remember who makes the damn thing.
Also, it is pretty quiet.

I have a ti Muzzy and love it!Saw a red 12 at Road America last year with an Akro w/carbon can and thought it looked great with the red paint.

Exhausts Systems
I am going for the Laser Hotcam System and PC3, just because it is different (Lookswise), they claim 20 BHP gain from standard without the PC3, this remains to be seen and I dont give a monkeys whether it gains that much or not. Laser were at one time the Shittiest of exhaust's but boy have they got there act together now, the can is cam shaped (again Different) and the quality and workmanship is just stunning.
Looked at the Micron Serpent but not keen that the pipework is Steel, probably look crap after a while.

need a pclllr on it because it ider rough.]
