This was the best run so far... He ran the first couple just to get used to bike... Then ran this using some NOS not entire run...... But before run 4 he started the bike and with the clutch in it was pulling... Adjustments didn't work put a 1/8 to 1/4 in in clutch lever of freeplay but continued pulling..... I think the steels may be warped or something as its not slipping... Any Ideas???? Also the 207's have to go before we go back..... Had a bad time with traction... But heres the hard numbers.... Oh yea before you give me hell we are number 2 on the right..... And this was the worst reaction time of the night... He cut a .540 and a .618 and one 1.70 60' time... No doubt it will go faster...

Pretty much sumsit up.... He's a better rider than me and he weights about a buck fifty.... I'm 265 pounds... I would look like a dodge caravan running down the strip.... When I hit 220 I'm going thru.... I started when I got my 12 last year @ 377 pounds and have lost over 100 pounds with this goal in mind... 220 pounds I'm riding it thru.......

What ever happened to...

"Tower Side" and "Pit Side"? Harrah's is a sponsor at a drag strip? Now that would be a sport to bet on!

I would think that you could probably get the bike in the 9's.

What mods have you done?

We was right lane we was in the 9's....LOL Barely...LOL Traction and clutch was big problems clutch not disengauging enough for smooth shifts... The bike dynoed last thursday @ 213.7 horse and 114.2 torque.... The 207's need to be gone.... Soft compund next time and a Muzzy clutch fix will help.... After third run with clutch engauged it still tried to pull....

Think about it...

A dragstrip with betting, right inside a casino! (and some of those in Vegas are just about big enough)

Too bad about Dan Tanna.

I'm afraid if I start now I may lose the motivation of losing weight... I have had weight problems my entire life. This new found motivation is awesome. My first goal was just to tuck far enough to see out the windshield(instead of over) and I got there so I set another.. I'm not looking to be the best just looking for a kick ass ride down the strip as an end results.. I still play on the backroads practicing takeoffs.. Not entire runs to dangerous on Missouri road...LOL. After I reach and I WILL acheive this goal I need to find another to keep me there.... Or weight will go right back up........

30lbs. = .10 in the 1/4 mile !!!

Rich... How is that for an incentive??? The more you DragRace the faster you get... The more weight you lose the faster you go!!! I think that you will be HAPPY when YOU are the one that posts a 9 second time slip on your bike without the NOS!!!

I can tell you this, I weigh 210 with leathers,boots,gloves and helmet... I was like a pig in shit when I ran my first 9 second pass!!! That is without an air shifter,shift light...My 12 is slammed Muzzy Ti/Carbon can,PC3r,clean air removed,K-Ns,Muzzy clutch kit,Falicon Billet Basket...Now I am running consistant 9.70s @ 145mph...

DUDE...YOU CAN DO IT!!!
