Its pronounced "shifty"....

close seconds are shit-pee, shitty, and sheepshit...

And entropy....fack jenny craig, I'm going to try for the lightest zx12 rider and owner (under 120 lbs) by next Maxton ... if I get to 115 lbs I wonder if I can still hold on standing up @ 170 anymore?

Shifty;
at 115 lbs on a 170mph standup you'll be fluttering like a flag.

Get some RW&B leathers and we'll salute and sing the national Anthem as you go by!

why don't you come to Texas in March???

My bike responded much better with the rotor than with the PC3R.. On dyno advancing 5 degrees didnt do anything, but with the rotor I got 4 rwhp. Maybe I got a bad pc3r.. Its possible..

I have actually entertained the thought of coming out to Goliad w/Warp 12 and DocRyan (a 3 way 200 mph club thing)....but Maxton is 6 hours from us, TX is about 24!!!!!!!!!!

I am leaning towards Goliad though truth be told...just for the fack of it.

A.

Stuart, besides some map tuning, I would also check the air corrector screws on the TB's. I have mine at 2.5 turns out. This helps smooth out the closed to partial open throttle.

Check this before mapping.

It's kind of a pain. You will need to pull the rail out the throttle side of the frame. I would use a manual to guide you.

The air correctors are on the bottom side of the barrels under brass caps. If you have ever popped the fuel scews on a rack of carbs, it's basically the same operation.

Hey Paul, it's Eric. I've spoken with you several times out at Gainesville Raceway (i've got the black Honda CBR1100xx Blackbird; we talked about my pilot jets possibly being clogged up).

So ya got a 12, huh? Fill me in, man!! I'm possibly looking at picking up a Silver 2001 model with 4,000 original miles. Maybe i'll see you out at the track with your new bike.
