Unfrikkingbelievable!!!! I went to the cable company to straighten out a few things and they told me that there were 25 more channels I could get for 2 more dollars, and SpeedVision was one of them. Finally. Too bad it is all NASCAR now. I hate NASCAR. But maybe they will throw in a motorcycle race now and then.

Just about every time I checked Speed chanel in the last few weeks all I saw was nascrap. Saw Formula 1 on once just in time to see Barachelo(?) slowing to let Micheal by as if he needed another win. I think it's getting just as bad.

I tried to be a "Nascore" fan... I just couldn't get used to the taste of "tuh-back-ee" and sleeping with a blood relative.

Not all people hate NASCAR; some (like me) like all forms of motorsports (it runs in the family.) I was first exposed to racing when I was 5 years old, & have been around motorsports all my life as both my Dad, his friends, & my brother raced cars. Myself, wanting something faster, went to bikes.
I too hate watching endless Talladega lines going round & round endlessly for hundreds of laps; but the local short-tracks can be a ball to go to & watch. My brother currently races a "Craftsman" style Pro Truck; ONLY 650+HP & ~18 second HALF miles.
Many a Sat. evening is spent at the local half mile (www.altamontraceway.com) watching the sprint races; much more exciting then the BIG boys. I go mainly to watch bro race (he wins a lot), & my son likes it (I probably wouldn't go otherwise), but it's fun watching all the dicing it up & sheet metal grinding...

Well, tonight is Two-Wheeled Tuesday!! You can watch Bike Week, Motorcyclist, the AMA Formula Extreme race from Fontana, the GP 125 from SA, World Supersport race and THEN....... that Harley show!! I'm going to watch it all. They also show Motorcycle racing earlier in the day Monza SBK race one and two) plus there has been some on Sunday around lunch the last few weeks. You may catch some on a Sturday occasionally....
Speed channel is OK with me!

Don't really like nascar. I know that it must be a hard sport to master, but I really wish that they could turn to the right sometimes. But I do love Formulia one.

The main reason I hate NASCAR is because it brings nothing to you and me. All other forms of racing embrace new technology that finds its way into production cars, but the inbreds at NASCAR are so rule bound that no one can even have an origional thought. I mean carburators for chrissakes, give us a break. I think the way they should run it is give them so many CIs, a smog test, and only so much fuel. But what do you expect from trailer trash. That and wrestling, sheesh.
As bad as the AMA is at least they allow new technology, and the best part is what they race today we get next year.

Oh yeah, as for the cable company and being able to actually watch Speedvision is another story. Looked tonight and nothing. You can't get through to these assholes on the phone, good thing they are right next door to my job.
Guess it doesn't matter anyway, I have to go scrape wallpaper tomorrow at my condo to start getting it ready to paint so I can rent it.

Well of course you can't get a hold of them... They're all down at the arena watching the "cage of doom-raw-smackdown-total-annihilation-war-bloodfest" thingy.
Either that, or they are at the "perioral carcinogen 300".

TED Ted,
Look for before you speak. "Speed-Channel" has kept all its coverage of F-1, WCR, GP (250's & 500), SBK3, and AMA Super bike. Furthermore the replay frequency of races has even improved. Speed state whole heartedly that there devotion to "All Types" of racing is what they are about and I applaud their coverage.

The Monza SBK races last Sunday were the best races I have seen in a while. Although they show a lot of NASCAR stuff, Speed Channel (Speedvision) has improved the motorcycle coverage. They also show a lot of F1 which is some good racing, except when a teammate has to pull over to let the #1 driver win. Kind of similar to what Ruben Xaus did for Troy Bayliss last year.

I'm looking forward to the speed channel, I can filter out the NASCAR crap. Now only if they would turn it on. I know sure as shit I will have to hike over there again to remind them to do it, assholes.
