Getting closer! Ran a 10.09 tonite. Yesterday was nothing but wheelspin, today was a *lot* better. Bike was bogging *bad* when I'd launch. Something about stock gearing, etc. So I slipped the clutch some, and started getting the bike to move out. My 60' times were in the 2.0 to 2.1 range, and on my last run, the 60' time dropped to 1.8 secs. That translated into about a half a second on the big end. That was also about a half second under my index, hence it being the last run of the night. I'm looking forward to two things: 1 - M/T Slick. That's going to really help traction! 2 - Gearing change. Stock gearing sucks with wheelie bars. Too hard to get out of the hole, and too easy to spin the tire when you do. I've spun the tire in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear, way past 100mph. Very weird feeling, going past the 1/8th mile mark with the bike crabbing sideways dwn the track!
