One Hell of a way to Burn $100,000+ Yes American $$$....
The guy made it out ok, but he did panic and did get some 2nd-3rd degree burns on his arms and chin... I spoke with him and he said for a few seconds he could only think that he was not going to make it. but he said the fire team was there before he even came to a complete stop...
What had happenend: a couple of bolts on the fuel rail came loose and started spraying fuel all over under the hood, which of course caught on fire, then the fire burnt the wiring to the fuel pump.... and pumped the entire tank empty!!! feeding it right into the fire... Big fire... I have a couple of fire photo's that I will get developed in the next day or two and then post...

they said it would go 200, but it never happened. I believe it ran some 180+'s and the guy did think that it would be repairable...
It was pretty sickening watching it burn....

The guy went right after me....he was rolling into the trap as I was picking up my slip. I think the car was sparking from underneath just before it burst into flames.

The worst part is the clause in your insurance that says vehicle not covered if participating in any kind of 'racing' event
Do you think he'll be able to get Geico to pay for it?

Just hope they don't investigate it and find pictures of it all burned up all over the internet. never mind all the witnesses.
