Made A Camera Mount For Maxton - Video
It was easy to make. I just drilled a hole in the ash tray and used a proper sized screw for the tripod mount. I am also adding additional fasteners to the rear of the camera, but this video was done just using the screw holder.

Yes, I know the windshield is filthy. In fact I just ruined it trying to get the racing # off it, so it will have a nicy shiny new one soon. Anyway, this camera angle allows me to tuck a little, so I should be able to run 180 or ?? with the camera mounted:

Very nice! (Tape down that camera lanyard!)
Could you post a picture of the bike with the camera mounted?

I doubt that will pass tech but you can try.

Well, I also planned to solidly affix the rear of the camera with hard plastic adhesive fasteners (think velcro on steroids). I mean, this stuff is nearly impossible to pull apart.
What are they looking for at tech?

Just an FYI, I added the 3M superlock fasteners from radio shack, as planned. And it did pass tech.

Cool Vid, i liked that set up. It would be hard to see on the decel at maxton though due to the bumpy nature, it was a killer if you went past the 3/10 turn off.
