Sequoia National Park
Just recently got my ventura rack..
I'm planning on heading to Sequoia National Park on my bike Sunday, camp till Tuesday and come back...
Anyone been up there and can suggest roads to get there, where exactly I should go?

I got the eclipse "sportbike saddle pack" system installed on the bike: tent, mattress, pillow, etc. fits in one saddle bag; clothes, etc. fits in the other saddle bag; shoes, misc., etc. fits in the pack; tent straps to the system.
Pretty slick, but not taking the chair, though (unless you want to carry my chair, too  )...I need to devise a rack to keep things more stable...total so far is about 45~50 lbs (I think). We need to do a shake-down run up Palomar on Tuesday to sort it (and your Ventura) out so that we don't have any surprises on the road, yes?
I need to change the oil and mount tires...man, I hope I feel better by Wednesday  ...I'm so freekin' ready for this trip (I hope!:O)

ROADTRIP!!!!!!
ddpete...my mount is ready!...checked all bolts and screws...adjusted/lubed chain...new tires...new oill&filter...the bikes finish is protected...the saddlepack sits solid considering that I don't have a rack......re-routed the wiring for the intercom...all I gotta do is get home on time from work and pack the gear...you ready???...I'm ready...I might go up Palomar early this morning (5~6 a.m. before I drop off my K9) and get the shiny stuff off the tires...gotta do something to stay awake or I'll never get up in time...YOU READY????
