Are you guys gonna come to Moo-City on thurs, stay the nite then go down to Goliad on Fri?? My lil wife is looking forward to seeing all y'all especially the ankle biters. Popeyes & Bud Lite! Gulf Coast sea food!

Like Gary said, our "winter" weather of Northers has started. In my garage yesterday morning between 4-5am the temp dropped from 84 to 65. Had to put a sweat shirt on... brrrrrr.....

I split my cases again on tues nite, will fire it up today as soon as the neighbors go to work

Gary,

Matt:

Buddy
are you coming to casa entropy Thurs or driving straight to Goliad on Fri???

Dan:
what are yr plans? We have floor space, nice comfy w-to-w carpeting!!!

Sat and Sun, 8or9am to 5or6pm, 1 hour lunch break at noonish. On Sat we usually get started running at 10-10:30AM, kind of slow until things get ironed out and people start to blow stuff. Sun. usually starts running a little earlier and you can get the most runs in towards the end of the day when everyone is tired.

Rest assured, I'll do my best. Personal goal of 209......both my boys have records at Maxton of 208+ on a n/a ZX12R and I'm tired of being the slowpoke of the family.
Look forward to seeing everone.
Dan

BUT! Dan you're the slow poke of a very fast family Your slowest is faster than 95% of all the rest of us

I think I saw one of your sons on an oil add in either Two Wheel or Street and Strip Mag for fastest production ZX-10. Much better picture than Noonan's leather chaps add!!!!

OK; time for a check on who is coming to the Mile:

Gary - 1375?? spray??
Buddy - Coby 1375, spray
Osti - 1375
Matt - 12 + dry shot
me - 1427 junkyard dog
Dan - 1507 Busa????

MM - 2 seater NA babystroller

I have 5 rooms booked at the Antler's Inn in Goliad for Fri & Sat nites (MM, Osti, Osti-Daddy, Buddy, me).

Gary: (Johnny Cheese built) 1394cc, went with the JE pistons. Sorry Muzzy, this fat boy (255lbs) needs all the cheap cc's he can get. Spray is optional, at this point I think I'll run N/A a few times and then poke the button in 6th. It's just a progressive 70 shot, but the motor felt so strong untuned I am a touch scarred! If things are comfortable I'll try 5th & 6th and go from there. Hope the weather holds.

I think Buddy might bring his ZX-14 also.

We are suppose to get all our rain here in Austin this Wed and Thur. Then it's suppose to clear out. The Mile is a couple hours south of us and a little closer to the Gulf Coast.

Wind looks OK for Sat., But that 15mph one on Sun. seems to be the norm out there. Becareful going through the traps, especially if you are a little side ways. Just roll off the throttle and then apply those brakes in a suave manner. There does seem like plenty of room to slow down, but I have only been 195 and change. Russ from Austin went down through the traps last time at over 200. He said he was leaned over due to wind and must have grabbed a handful and washed the front end out. I do not know if you have seen Mr. Hills son at speed with the front tire off the ground, but my speculation is the combination of HP and a gust of wind pulls the front tire up. If you are at a lean with the front tire off the ground and cut the throttle to grab the brakes then it would seem the front end might easily wash out. Just my idiots two cents advice/warning. Russ said he would be out to spectate.

Hey Guys,
Just talked with Charlie.......it's a no-go for us two and we both HATE it.
His bikes not gonna be ready in time.

I'm bummed for sure, was looking forward to riding his 'Busa and meeting you folks I don't know and seeing some old friends.
I may try to slide over to Maxton and watch some action but participating is much more fun than spectating!
Take care, ride safe and keep us up to date.
Dan

BTW TRN...That is Chad in the Motul ad. Glad to see LSR getting some coverage.

I think it runs South East and there has always been a nice frontal and/or right to left wind as you making your pass. Best times for least amount of wind have seem to been in the mornings.

If the conditions are right I would think Karl, Ryan, and Buddy will all have 200+ mph runs.

It'll be fun to see who will have the title of the Fastest ZX-12 at The Texas Mile. Right now its only at 195 and change by some fat idiot who does not know how to ride!

TRN,
From what I am reading about your new motor, you better add your name to the list of people who may have 200+ runs.

Gary, you are correct-o

I just did a lil googling and found that the "track" is oriented 100/280;
passes are made from WNW to ESE ..

If the Accuweather forecast is right, it means we'll have a nice tail wind on Sat:

"Saturday, Oct 28, Sunny. Winds from the NW at 11 mph"

and a quartering head wind (right to left, as Gary says) on Sun:

"Sunday, Oct 29: Mostly sunny and delightful. Winds from the SSE at 10 mph"
