More newb questions.......
Is it normal for the clutch to make some rattling noises when it is disengaged? Whenever I disengage the clutch (meaning pull the lever in) at idle speeds, the clutch basket area emits some strange rattles. Is this normal? Or perhaps it's tied to question two.
I recently changed the oil and I only filled it until the oil was 1/2 up the sight-glass window when the bike was off it's center stand and upright. Is this correct? I've filled all of my previous, sight-glass equipped bikes in this same manner and I've never encountered any problems (especially clutch rattle). I am running Rotella 15w 40 dino oil. Thanks.

keep in mind the oil is at 1/2 while the engine is not running.
Also, does the 02 model have a choke? My lever doesn't do anything, so I pulled the switch apart, only to discover there's no cable in it. I've looked around on the fiches on Bikebandit.com, but there's no choke cable listed....
