a 190/55?

Do you mean a 190/50 or a 180/55? I didn't know there was a 190/55. Of course, I ain't the brightest bulb on the shelf either! I run a 120/65 with a 180/55. I like the quicker response, but I still haven't found the best suspension settings for that combination. You will have to tweak your suspension to compensate and take full advantage of the 120/65. If you've moved your forks up in the clamp, you might want to move them back down before you take your sag measurements.

I will be running a 120/70 when I put the Rennsports on for the Gap trip. Metzeler doesn't make a 120/65 in the Rennsport ("street" tire). Just a 102/70, 120/60 and a 110/70. I'm not expecting them to last as long as the Pilots, so I'll either begoing back to the Pilots of trying out some 010s after the trip.

Rennsports are being made in 190/55 now, in the standard, soft and super soft compounds.

120/65zr17 front

Last fall I put 010's on before a Blue Ridge trip. Did not change anything else on the suspension. In some really harry corkscrew backroads in Virginia I was scraping the bottom of my fairings. I needed to raise the ride height some to stop this. It did turn in slightly quicker with the 65 profile but not a huge difference. I'll be going back to the 70 when these tires are shot.
