The muzzy is very differrent from the akro.
The muzzy is a hot rod type pipe loud and lots of vibration thru the entire bike
while the akro is a lot like a luxury pipe quite and smooth. Simular in power,
but you will probably want a PC with the muzzy to help with the low end lean condition.
your choice Mustang or STS.

There are 2 different Muzzy pipes for the 12R. The regular stainless or Ti exhaust and the Muzzy Pro Pipe. The Pro Pipe has larger diameter primary tubes at least. Its for a big bore with extended rpm or a stroker engine. They dont recommend using the Pro Pipe on a stock bore engine..

Agreed about the Pro Pipe! I believe the reason it is for sale is so that no one can say that Muzzy has something on their bikes that they do not sell to the Public

do you think a 1361/1375 would benifit from it without extending the rev limit.

NO! Per them, it was designed for Pro Stock racing and about 12,500 to 13,000 RPM Limit. It is a serious pipe designed to get the Most out of their engine

Maybe a little juice might make that Pro pipe run better!

Muzzy says that the Pro pipe will work on a 1270 motor with extended rev capability or a stroker engine. Probably work good on a 1375 motor with headwork and cams...

My motor is stock and I have a power commander 3 so I think that I will just look for a pipe like the akropovic and go with it or the arata....

Not trying to be a jerk or anything, but has anyone actually measured the primary
down tubes and the collector on the pro pipe to see if they are larger. I though I had measured them against the stock pipe a few months back and they came up the same,
but it might have just been a dream I had. I'll have to pull the pipes out again and re-measure.

The Pro pipe is very different in many dimensions. It will not do anything for you on a stock rev limit bike, and will definitely hurt more the closer to stock you are. It's designed for big bore engines run over the stock rev limit.
