I have these on every bike I own(5) Cant beat 'em for the price. Pro Grip Gel 699 "superbike" grips. Your local dealer should be able to get them in a day.

thx for the feedback guys.

i think i'll give those a try scooter, since you obviously find them very satisfactory. any particular reason you prefer #699 over the other options? looks from the product pics that they are a touch thicker than the others (713 and 780 i think?).

triggerman, i'd still like to hear what you find too.

Freek, I use the gelgrip "pro grips" and a set of "ape hangars" on the bike.
Between the two its way better than stock.

.

feek, yeah the 699 has a rectangle pattern that seems to help circulation in the hands. I usually have a new spare set hanging in the garage. Put a set on my TL yesterday. They're a little thicker than about any other grip I've seen other than those "Johar" foam grips http://www.huntwilde.com/Johar.htm They're nice but the foam seemed to deteriorate after a season or so.

tried the "724", look good but nowhere near as comfey.

had the "780" on wifes ZR7. very soft only much thinner,( for smaller hands?) she now has 699's

never rode with 713's but they seem a tad thinner than the 699.

I used the 780 on her 600 and she liked them well enough....I mostly just use the stock ones as I ALWAYS wear gloves....so it doesnt really matter

seems they worked just fine. tho they don't feel much softter when inspected, they definitely felt more comfy when i swapped from my 12 to the stock 14 (which uses the same grips as the 12 and 10 and 6..). i'd have to say i'm quite happy with them. jsut don't expect them to be as cushy as the foam grips you commonly see on cruisers.

+1
Same setup for me as well, still gettng a little "buzz" thru the Helibars though...Thinking of stuffing some foam inside the bars as suggested on another board...
