couple questions for Y;oll

Is it normal for there to be a little Gas seepage where the Key goes into the filler cap , and my filler cap it self is getting stiff , what do you guys recomend for that wd ?

what is typical of rattling on these bikes that sounds like plastic rattling at low rpm in the frontal area of the bike Rad bolts ? fan ? i am perplexed .

A bit of 'air' seepage from the lid is normal after a long ride (I believe). I hear it quite often, and that is what I was told. If you lift the lid, there's a rubber tit in there. Make sure it is seating properly. If it's actual gas that's seeping out, then you probably have a problem.

Small plastic rattling around could be anything up front. There are alot of screws. I'd start with trying to tighten the easy-access ones. Under the ram air first. Just start checking them one by one. There are bolts and screws under the inners / instrument cluster as well.

Is the bike down sensor up front because i have what sounds like a screw rolling around in the intakes and can find nothing??

triggerman, i had that gas seepage around the key problem too. my dealer ended up replacing the entire gas cap.

Beware, there's a bunch of springs in there. If you're not careful, they'll go flying and you'll end up having to replace it anyway.

Ok thanks , my dealer said there is a tank vent in there and its been really hot up here as of late so i dunno whether to pursu it any further or not , i am still paraniod that the bike has to many vibes i think the valve might need adjusting , i am taking it in for 6 thou k service really soon so i am sure if there is a prob they will adress it

as for the gas seepage around the tank key hole ??? the milage is bad enought already LOL

Droid as for the bikes down sensor i am not sure where that is its probebly in the manual i will check it out later whe there is time .

The tip over switch (down sensor) sit's behind the battery and isn't worth shit.

50/50 success/failure rate at best.
