Just got a notice from Allstate. The 12 (any ZX model actually) is on the banned bike list there too. My policy renewed but with a huge "special group" surcharge.

I'll be shopping as soon as I have the time.

My full coverage was about $4500 for four bikes this year. Dropped everything down to liability, cuz I own them all, and saved about $4100.

I'm paying $367.20 per year for full coverage w/$500.00 deductible with State Farm, They just renewed me (March) no price change.
Bfly, They dropped you because of two claims? Did they surcharge you at all? Were you just not renewed or did they drop you mid policy?

McGraw Ins.:

ZX12R = $689 "Full" coverage everything, $500 ded.
ZRX11 = $298 "Full" coverage everything, $500 ded.

Clean record, Bay Area prices...

Watch out for Progressive. Friend here got clipped & crashed by a car on the freeway, their first estimate was for $1800 "cosmetic damage only."

When he insisted on a chassis check for a bent frame, forks, etc., they totalled it!!! This after two month delaying tatics, & a $500 tow yard storage bill. They would have given him back a bent bike had I not advised him to get the frame checked... WTF kind of insurance company is that?!???

I've heard more bad things about that company...

I think my insurance is at $1700 and change with a $500 deductable. (ON MY ZX6-R)
I got in to an accident with the Volvo (2 years ago)and they hiked up the insurance on my bike, NOT my car.... It will take me 4-5 years to get the hit off my bike, as long as I have no more claims.

You can say 'well that in Canadian dollars', except thats what I get paid in...

Gotta shop around, Cycle Direct was $300 cheaper than Progressive for me. $400 less than State Farm. FWIW $1050 for a ZRX11, ZR7 and ZX12, F/C.

State farm went up on me too

About $35 for 6 months , total for my 12 is about 260 for 6 months now.They went up on all my policies my toyota pickup,S-10 and my vette.
My agent told me a few months ago state farm was going up.He's prety cool a few months ago he told me "hey I heard you can do some long wheelies on that bike" I just looked kind of puzzled and ask him where he heard that and he knew some guy that works where i do that was telling him.I never admitted to it.I didn't lie either.I just smiled.
I feel lucky at what I'm paying compared to some of you guys.

Bri, I hope you get it worked out. As we all know insurance in Illinois is a rip off. When I got my bike my agent told me to take the bike back and buy a Corvette, because it would be cheaper. I have Allstate and I'm paying over 1,000.00 a year. I had State Farm and was paying 600 a year. But when I wouldn't switch the car insurance they dropped me.
