I'm not sure, but last time I saw the bike it still had a "J" style motor in it. (2 valve head) That's the first Kaw in a Final since "The Legend" Dave Schultz.

Scali uses a 2 valve motor, and I understand is sporting a header of his own design. I couldn't see it at Gainesville, as he draped a jacket over it whenever the bodywork was off. The collector looks large, but tightens up for the exit pipe, almost like an expansion chamber.
I was just looking through the results on nhra.com - check out this travesty;
(W) Steve Johnson (K&N Filters Suzuki) 0.495 7.344 179.37
(L) Shawn Gann (Gann Speed Airtech Suzuki) 0.393(R) 7.208 192.96
193 is f-f-fast. That must've been a particularly painful redlight.
