Just bought a used ZX12 and need to know where to get the passenger footpegs.

I am new to this forum and needed to know where to buy passenger footpegs so my wife can ride. It is a 2000 zx12. Is there any aftermarket companies or will I have to stick with stock. Also do all of the year models interchange in parts? It has full muzzy exhaust if that makes any difference.
thanks in advance,
Brandon

I am needing the whole mount I guess (look in the picture and please tell me what I need) because on my right side where the footpegs are supposed to go my exhaust is hooked to where the rear footpegs mount. It is a carbon fiber piece that attaches
the muffler to the side of the bike.
thanks for the information,
Brandon

i hate to say it, but the 12 is 110% the WORST bike i have ever owned for having someone riding pillion (unless she is an 80# Thai spinner )
I have a set of pegs somewhere in my junk pile.
Don't wanna rain on yr parade, but the 12 sux for having a passenger; yes it does

It would really help me out if you could find those passenger foot pegs. Also, what is it exactly about the zx12 that makes it bad for passenger?
thanks for the information

The passengers tend to lean on your back putting more weight / pressure on your wrists!!!
They need to put their hands on the tank or your thighs while stopping!!!

Looks like you got a nice clean bike. Sweet.
If your gonna have a passenger NWS(England) makes a nice rear grab bar for the 12. I have one for when my daughter rides. Cant use the cover with it but it's easily removed.

Thanks for all of the information. I really like that grab bar. Does anyone know if someone in the US sells that bar?

Didn't Vincent Hill build a backrest for his wife a couple of years ago? Maybe you can shoot him a message and ask him about it.

Heli-bars and gel-grips would help take weight off your wrists and pressure off your hands, while providing you and your passenger a more upright riding position.
