Synthetic Oil
Getting an oil change. 4500 hundred miles. should I or should I not?

Sure why not, I use the Motul Semi-Synth oil. I have used it since 96 when I had my ZX11. U will get as many opinions as there are members

I can't think of any reason NOT to do it! (unless you're just a poor, cheap bastard, in which case you wouldn't own such a great bike!!)

I went to Motul myself back when I had my 11 and it really improved the shifting. That's why I went back to it, 15w50 at 2500 miles on my new 12. I think from 2500 miles and on your safe to switch to the syn oil.

I like golden spectro 10-40 blend. Its a synth/petro blend, with one of the highest zink and phosphorus content of all oils made. Second only to an oil made for BMW.
