Rad hose won't seal
So I just slapped a new rad on my bike but I can't seem to keep the top rad hose from dripping, even when not under pressure. Tightening the clamp doesn't seem to help (plenty tight already). What's the secret to getting this to work? Just smear a thin layer of silicone on the inside of the hose/ourside of the pipe/nipple/whatever-it's-called?

clean it real well and make sure there are no hairline cracks in the tube not the hose... it should seal.

If that don't work trim off 1/2 of your lips and bond that on to the hose......guaranteed to work.......
