gear shaft seal replacement..

I'm taking the engine out of my '00, to possibly sell ,and I noticed the seal is dribblin'. I''ve never had even a single drop of anything under that bike.......it's shittin' on me 'cause I'm giving 'er up!
Have any of you changed one?? Easy/hard??

is this for the sprocket? or the gear shifter. I accidentally left the drive gasket out on a rebuild once..... thank god it was my motor. it leaked like a stuck Hog!!! oh my god there was oil everywhere! but I took the sprocket off and just tapped it in and never had a problem since very easy fix....

The gear shift shaft is the leaker. If it's only minor, I'll replace it for a potential buyer.
