Just past 3am... lockdown time... Well, it's pretty quiet around these parts right now... so I am going to lockdown the forums to all new posts, and begin transferring to the new server.

Okay... ready on new server... DB transferred cleanly... ready to roll, 4 visitors at the old location still [which is locked down] and just unlocked the new location forums.
Next begins the DNS retargetting for the new location...

All done! Alrighty then...
Have fun all - we're now running from our new server. To fix up anyone who may be running on a bad ISP connection, where they dont have good DNS servers, and thus dont quickly take on the new DNS information... I'll setup a redirect from the old server to this one.
It looks like all is well... and we now just need to wait for our beloved "bikeland.org" domain to become fully functional again - then we're set!
Good night! [well, I'll be up a good bit longer... but hopefully this is the last required post from me tonight ]

dude, i ever tell u u do to much free work?
ya'll should see this guy. he's doin favours for friends and aquaintances half every damn day, and the favours are pretty much never returned (i include myself in the list of marally challenged).
he spent a good couple days on this (i mean like 2 WHOLE days), so a big time thx to maddog! i'll take a break from my leeching ways & pay fer pool 2nite, k?
