New Toyota land cruiser...
Yesterday they had the new land cruiser here in naples fla. at the dealers meeting.
Its very retro looking ...much like the 70's version. I'll bet it sells well among the hummer crowd.
Also a few other new cars and some concept stuff. Toyota puts on quite a show introducing this stuff. A lot of hoopala and flashy crap....
I wanted to get some pics for the board but they didnt allow cameras or even cell phones with cameras. Security was tight during this segment of the meeting. They had some new diesel stuff and direct injection 4 stroke cycle stuff as well as the latest hybrid developments... again, no pics. 
Some new trucks are coming this year....

I've seen it online but not in the stores yet.. did see the first "Honda Fit" get delivered yesterday... looked pretty cool.

I havent seen the honda. GM, Ford and chrysler better get thier shit together. I'm a chevy guy but the domestics better start making product someone wants.

That blue one above is just a stock photo from Google.
Tom's is yellow. But sure, I can take a bunch of photos of it.
I haven't even seen it in person yet, just a pic from him stating "Look what I found lurking in my garage this morning". LOL

There was no problem taking pics of the new LC because its out now. But the other stuff was a no no. The dealers are getting them now.
The new Tundra has a 30% stronger frame. This is the truck GM and Ford didnt want to ever see made. There going into the heavy duty truck market now.

...fully boxed frames with more compliant (ie. more comfortable) suspension settings without compromising strength and load capacity is a good thing, yes?....isn't the new GM900(?) platform the same way?

Yea, its actually called the FJ but to me it looks like the old land cruiser.

It's only available with a 6 banger. A V8 is not offered.

Yea too bad. A V8 would be quite impressive. But its only 22-28 grand. The full size land cruisers are very expensive.
