neutral balls in tranny
if i take the neutral balls out will it shift any differnt from 1-2 gear? i am using air shifter.

...most trannies have natural balls that they like to take out from time to time....just ask fish!

Whats the reason to take them out?
I dont see any reason you have to have them in other than for the neutral finder.

Neutral finder is the only purpose of neutral balls.

Finding neutral can come tricky if You remove the balls, because the tranny wasn't designed to find neutral without them. I've had a little problem on some bikes but others have. But one thing is sure - You won't gain anything either.

I'm pretty sure they are there so you can't shift into 2nd from neutral......I removed them from my tranny so I can shift it into 3rd while sitting still in the burnout box. 3rd gear burnouts get the tire hot quick. No problems finding neutral after the mod.
