Something old, something new, something red, something blue..
Picked up the new bike last night and had to get a pic of the two together. The parts raper picked it up about 10 minutes later. Now I need some time to try out the new one.

Never had a bike at the house with "0" miles. Brought it home on a trailer. Wish I still had my 220 speedo.

I've split my speedo case before, no big deal. Couldn't you just take the face off the 220 and put it on the '02???

The 12 is dead! Long live the 12!
Even though they wouldn't negotiate on the old bike (I still wonder why), it looks like they paid off pretty quickly. What is this going to do to your rate, especially since you have the evil Allstate insurance?
Does it look like the 220 meter itself would be interchangeable?
How long did it take you to put the wheels in the same position?

You know....
They could of filled it up for you. Or if it is like mine, the fuel gauge looks like that 5 feet away from the pump.
Looking at the picture again, the B1 really does date the A1 and A2.
I wonder how body color would look on the scoop?

Silver,
I doubt a face plate swap will work. You'd have to be able to fix the sweep. I'm sure someone will figure it out, but it won't be me.
Rocket,
I'll have to live with the gauges. Didn't notice the wheels, luck of the roll out. They gave me a deal on the bike, I wasn't worried about the gas.
Richard,
Buy back wasn't an option, I tried. Allstate here won't do it.
Pat,
No.
Paul, MSRP is 10,999. My out the door price was a few hundred less than that. I doubt many dealers will do that, but I have a good relationship with the sales/dealer manager.

Nice bike Dave. I like the blue color. But you know, I hadn't really looked at it front on before. Is it just me or does it (bite your tongue dave!) look kinda Yamahopperish?
I think I liked the rounded lines on the front of the fairing of the old 00' bike better. Not to say I do not like it, I just like mine better...of course!
I think?
