Hp is about details and help of friends
All the people that know me a bit, know that I live in Dominican Republic, a land of NO cops in the hiway, some good roads, no dyno and absolutely no mechanical experience in the hi-tuning deparment.
My travel started with the purchase of a zx12r, very hard driven, Muzzy full, with PC3r , Kand N filters, -1 on the front, just that.
The bike was fine power, handling was terrible, brakes ok.
Then with the help of the old friends here in the forum I started to get the bike better.
BMC race filter
hyperpro rear spring.
some tuning of the PC3r
the bike got better, I could walk after 4th gear from the gixxers 1000.
Interesting that in 6th gear the bike was slow in the top end.
then canadamaxxer (if I remember correctly), send me the pics of his hi-vel porting, and that burned my mind for a long time, because I thought that the power was suficient.
One day since I did not found the watter wetter I use cool aid from VP

And canadamaxxers 12 will leave gixxer 1000's on the top end too ..... ( or so I hear )

MAYOR MISTAKE
In the race track I warped the F... head, that shit just condensed and stoped the watter movement.
Entropy pointed me in the right direction with the problem,. warped head. SHIT
I took the head out, cut the head 0.3mm.
Since Pat (motoman) told me some aditional pics of the smaller port thing, I did it.
The bike got better. then a friend Claudio (a guru in cars Fi tuning) help me more.
new rings, new oil seals, new cam chain, etc.
motoman way of break in of course.
I raced a K5, same bike until i hit 6th the K5 was faster.
In the mean time hyperpro front springs, 19mm front master cilynder was installed.
Then I saw a post from the man that at the beguining help me (and stills), Vincent. About some vel stacks.
I kept that in my mind,
Claudio helped me more with the FI.
VH told me a lie, that the bike was goin to be a bit faster, he was so wrong.....Thank good

I used the Vel stacks but never tested. I just noticed that with my wife on the back the bike did not die,,, mmmmm strange..
Then Pat motoman, came to his Dominican family to learn spanish.
he helped me wirth tricks for my gixxer 1000 race bike (we tear down the poor bike apart, but that is another story), but he helped me to reduce roling resistant and other tips that I use on the zx12r.
i changed the srpockets, chain, WD40, and lots of details.
I was today, with 3 gixers behind me, K2 (milled head, ported, ex race bike, full sistem), K4 ( all the moods), and a K5 stock (20 lbbs lighter rider)
Only the K4 guy could keep up at 100m behind.
All the way I was thanking all my friends, I was leavind them like nothing on the straings.
when I exited the curves, the power of the zx12r, was so much that I was skeptical.
Vincent, those VS made my bike hit the rev limiter all the time fast. in 6th gear. It a huge diference man
I tested with the K5 in a straight, he pase a car then me but I was 4 bike behind wen both whent WOT, I was closing slowly, very......after something strange happened, when I put 6th my bike kept going like its on 5th gear. and the K5 stoped and I fly passed the K5.
NOT walk, fly passs that bbike.
