Bought a 2002 Today

Got the call for the final numbers from the insurance company on the old bike and went out and bought a blue 2002. The dealer I was at had all 3 colors and since I'm a BIG fan of red bikes I had to give it one last look. It's even uglier that I remembered. That's too bad.

I wanted to buy back the bike from Allstate, and tried hard, but it wasn't an option.

I'm going to miss that bike, but there will be plenty of good parts of it staying with me that will remind me of it.

Now I got to get used to saying this. Here's a shot of the fastest BLUE color:

I think you made the right move. Without a doubt the Blue is the best looking of the '02 models hands down. Red still rules though.

Nice color!
It'll be interesting to see the torque curve on the 2002.

Do you have either of the pressure sensors on the old bike?
I'll buy one or both from you if you do.

Yup Bart, I got the blue. Too bad I had to do it the hard way like you, but at least we're both here to make fun of each other.

It was 82 here today !! Can you get the Dunlop snow tire for yours ?

He do me a favor and find me that WAV file of the guy doing the motorcyle.
BTW I guess I could use a rain.
This sucks I have all my parts in and I need somemore miles before I can put the stuff on.

Congratulations!!!

I think I would have done the same thing considering all the great things I read about the 02. The blue is flashy but I still like the red best. Congrats Dude and keep the rubber side down!!!

BLUE has ALLways been my favorite color!!!

MY buddy & I picked up his red 02 from Highland saturday, Istill cant decide if it looks better then my double 0 or not I really like the unrefined unrestricted look of the original. & who wants a honda red kawasaki any way. the yammaha blue is nice too on a R-1
