My riding season comes to a close: a recap
Well, when the dust settles, I'd have to give this riding season another thumbs up. I had relatively good weather... put the 12 on the road beginning of March. Went through 3 sets (count em! 3!) of 207's... Rode to Laguna Seca and back... rode the 12 at Portland International Raceway ... rode A LOT this season! ... Got my first electric vest (very nice!).. Purchased Chatterboxes (thanks Dino!) which are a blast!... DIdnt get one ticket! (8th season in a row!) .. no matter what people say about how much better the V1 is over the Bel945i, all I can say is my squeeky clean license is proof that YES, the BEL DOES WERK! Got a power commander (very fun to play with)...
all in all a great season... never dropped the bike... no damage spare a little wee scratch on the tail section from the track stand loading shit into the truck on the track day ... Met lots of great people from the site...
Looking forward to next year!
Taking the bikes off the road today... even though it is sunny it's just too cold (about 50).. tires wont hook up and there's leaves and shit everywhere.... we're gonna beat up on freek's "garbage bike" (an ugly old nighthawk 450) instead of the zx's!..
so there ya have it.. .another season done!.

50's ? Hell I ride when it's colder than that. High 30's and 40 I just go on shorter rides.Hell it's still summer here.

Yeah! 30's, 40's and 50's - that's when these babies REALLY run good!! I never did put my bike away for the winter last year, and I don't plan on doing it this year either.

sounds like you guys had good riding seasons. Mine would have been better without the get off but at least I got two sweet days of riding with the Akro before I had to put it away for the winter.

I Would Tend To Agree
Sounds like you had a great season. I wish I could say I had no stinkin tickets but at least I kept the rubber side down. Hey you did a good job with this site too!! Keep up the good work!!
