Turboblew -the paul harvey version
This will give some info

My version of my dealings with turboblew
All this began in late 2003, Steve (turbo blew) had taken on of my ZX-12's to his house in preparation for taking both his and my ZX12's to the motor heads to have turbot's installed. He did not take them to motor heads due to work and other activities he had previously planned.
Just before bike week he called and asked me could he borrow my ZX-12 to take to bike week. I told him I would only loan it to him if he rode it himself and he would accept financial responsibility should it be stolen or damaged. He agreed.
He said he would bring my bike back to me at the prostar race in Gainsville march 2004 as I needed it for backup as a friend was racing my other ZX12 (Mad Mike from Bikeland) He never showed, I tried to call him a number of times and he had cut his phone off. I finally got a hold of him on Monday and told him I was coming over that night to pick it up (he never at any time mentioned the damage that had happened to my bike in Daytona.) When I showed up at his house that evening we talked for a few minutes in his house then we went out to load my bike, and THEN he finally told me of the damage. (left side panel scratched all the way down, mounting bracket bent and scratched front fender) I asked him was he going to buy replacement parts, he told me he wasn't the one that caused the damage, but he would be responsible. I didn't get mad or go ballistic like a lot of people would have. This was March/April 2004. Around October 2004 I asked him to please send me a check for the parts as I was going to buy a frame from him, but after 6 months he still did not have it available for me to purchase. I got a joke check from him for '$1000 Dick Sucking Dollars' I'm afraid I didn't find it very funny. He finally did pay me in December 2004 at which time he declared he would have my old panels. I had done several jobs fro him over a period of time (which I was not going to charge him for, but as he was insistent on subtracting the $40.00 he spent on a set of footpegs at Deals Gap). I decided he could pay me for my work (he told me several times he would pay me)
Basically he is saying I owe him $150.00 for the Cracked scratched left side cover and front fender.
He owes me $180.00 for work I did for him so in essence he owes me $30.00 and I keep the old side panels or he owes me $180 and he gets the side panels. I told him this the last time I saw him in 2004. He has not once pm'ed me nor tried to call me.I told him the last time I saw him when he finally paid me. You pay me $180 and I give you the side panel and front fender or I keep the side panel and we call it even.

I said I wasn't gonna post anything....................
But I will say this, and I mean this in the most sincere way possible. I hate it that Harry and Steve have had some problems. I've told both of them that. I've also told them that it was my hopes that it could be worked out. I'd like to see the boys bury the hatchet for a multitude of reasons. Life is too short for one, and two,....if you've ever seen these two go at it with the smack talking and whatnot!!! It's a riot I tell you, and I for one miss it.
With all of that said though, a man has to do what he feels is right. I've got my fingers crossed that this will end well and that I can kick both their asses sometime this year.
Chris, you gonna let me ride ol' red next week while I'm up there.

....we should make Don Henley's 'Dirty Laundry' the smackhouse theme song....enjoy!
I make my living off the evening news
Just give me something-something i can use
People love it when you lose,
They love dirty laundry
Well, I coulda been an actor, but I wound up here
I just have to look good, I don't have to be clear
Come and whisper in my ear
Give us dirty laundry
Kick 'em when they're up
Kick 'em when they're down
Kick 'em when they're up
Kick 'em when they're down
Kick 'em when they're up
Kick 'em when they're down
Kick 'em when they're up
Kick 'em all around
We got the bubble-headed-bleach-blonde who
Comes on at five
She can tell you 'bout the plane crash with a gleam
In her eye
It's interesting when people die-
Give us dirty laundry
Can we film the operation?
Is the head dead yet?
You know, the boys in the newsroom got a
Running bet
Get the widow on the set!
We need dirty laundry
You don't really need to find out what's going on
You don't really want to know just how far it's gone
Just leave well enough alone
Eat your dirty laundry
Kick 'em when they're up
Kick 'em when they're down
Kick 'em when they're up
Kick 'em when they're down
Kick 'em when they're up
Kick 'em when they're down
Kick 'em when they're stiff
Kick 'em all around
Dirty little secrets
Dirty little lies
We got our dirty little fingers in everybody's pie
We love to cut you down to size
We love dirty laundry
We can do "the innuendo"
We can dance and sing
When it's said and done we haven't told you a thing
We all know that crap is king
Give us dirty laundry!

Yeah I hope them boys it sorted out too Rick. And I don't think you'd be interested in riding up here next week. Remember how I told you how nice the weather had been? Well, not anymore. We got some snow last weekend and most of it is still here and it's cold, 18 degrees this morning. Make sure you bring a warm coat, if you don't have one I have several.
Plus my 12 is sleeping in my shed anyway.

Hard to believe that we know both of them and how they are and cannot believe something could happen. We do know it happened too. Worst yet, they are both easy to get along with until a certain nerve is struck. I think they hit the only nerve in each of them that would cause a problem. Harry's comes under no good deed goes unpunished and Steve's was "I did not believe it at first, but NOW I do!

Just like I figured.
What Harry fails to mention is he had a bunch of parts of mine for an extended period of time which caused me to lose out on 2 deals because of his procrastination. He had those parts a HELL of a lot longer than a few months. Its not like Harry hadnt seen me or knew where I live.
So to recount... did I ask to be reimbursed to transport his shit back to FL when he crashed? Did I ask him for money when I took his bike back from Deals Gap?? No.
This is where Harry's selfishness is prevalent. I gave him $450 of my OWN FUCKING money because the friend that loaded Harry's bike was having financial difficulties. I could have told Harry to fuck himself and given him Leo's number and let them 2 settle it. I manned up.
If anyone has seen the way Harry treats his shit....... you'd know exactly what Im talking about.
And theres plenty of more bullshit money stories.... like the hotel incident in Daytona.
So your version is I owe you $30. Ok... Ill offset the $180 it cost me to transport your shit.
I asked you specifically if you were going to replace the panels. I would have bought a new panel and fender and given you a bracket instead of cash. YOU wanted to be an asshole. Well you're about to meet your match.
Ive given you more than enough time. You said you'd take care of this a long time ago.
You have my number if you want man up to settle.

H- You could have come and picked up your parts any time as i told you. You said there was no worry on the time and it was no longer than a few months.
So to recount... did I ask to be reimbursed to transport his shit back to FL when he crashed? Did I ask him for money when I took his bike back from Deals Gap?? No.
H - I do appreciate you bringing my bike back for me and offered you money to help pay for 1/2 the gas. What you failed to mention was that you had lost your key to your bike and had no way to get your bike back to jacksonville.
This is where Harry's selfishness is prevalent. I gave him $450 of my OWN FUCKING money because the friend that loaded Harry's bike was having financial difficulties. I could have told Harry to fuck himself and given him Leo's number and let them 2 settle it. I manned up.

'H - My toyota pick up gets 22-26 miles a gallon it is approx 500 miles to lakecity. 20 or so gallons of gas is $180? this was summer 2001 Gas was what $1.50 or less a gallon?
Ive given you more than enough time. You said you'd take care of this a long time ago.
