Time for Tire Talk again!

Ok,, i got a magazine,,and after the test results,, Dunlop Qualifiers were the winners,, with the Pilot Power and Metzeler Sportecs coming in 2nd and 3rd,,i did get a chance to lay eyes on them at the show in NY,, i want to know if there is anything to be said about them,, because initially i was going to go Sportecs,,because of the wet weather excellance,, but then i talked to a friend that has the Powers,, and now comes Dulop with the NEW Qualifiers,,anyone that has input,,it will be greatful,, about to get the bike ready for the season,, and would like to have the confidence,,if you know what i mean. Thanx

there's a thread down here somewhere, but i've ridden on the M1 and the pilot power soooo

both great tires. they are cheap enough (except the Q) to try a set, then try the other brand, and pick one. it's all up to your riding style and wants/needs in a tire.

I dont like Dunlops...the 208 were shit in my opinion...I thought the M1's were the shit until i got the Pilot Powers....for the Money the Pilot Power is the best thing since sliced bread....dont waste the money on the metzlers or Bridgstones....you will get as good of traction out of the Powers as either of those, and get alot more miles outof them.....

the 014's are a great tire and can match the Power's in most area's except wear. The Power's also grip as good as new at the wear bars unlike the 014's, plus it takes more miles to get to them!

Powers are my next tire of choice once I wear out the new set of 014s on the 12 and replace the factory junk on the 10. I heard nothing BUT good things about the powers.

anyone I have ever talked to has said the Pilot Powers last far longer than any other tires, and get just as good of traction....

I get twice the miles on powers as I did on M-1's......I have 3500 miles on the set on my bike now, and 2 days at the track.....I expect another 1000 miles out of them.....or 1 more day at the track.....

I woudl go through a brand new set of Super Corsas in a day and a half on the track...with no street miles....and a set of M-1's woudl give me 2 days with minimal street miles....

The powers are the best buy in my opinion.....traction as good as any supersport tire, and the wear of a high mileage tire......for just over $200 a set.....
