paint question

The paint on the bottom of the 2000 red, is a metallic midnight purple. Does anyone know the paint code or some-where to get some touch-up paint. Color-rite doesn't have a listing. Thanks in advance, Dan.

Um...

...could it be Kawasaki's ZX-11 Dark Metallic Mica (Purple)?

Thanks for the reply cowboy. Could you give a little more detail. Are you talking about an ultra-violet scope? Where did you get it done? Do you still have the paint with the formula they used? Thanks Dan.

I just took my fairing into the body shop and told them i wanted to paint my rims to match the purple on the lower fairing. They called in there paint rep and he put some sort of scope on it and a couple days later the shop recieved the paint(perfect match). They are redoing my wheels at this time and they did give me some leftover paint(small jar)but i dropped it off at the place that is painting my helmet and wont see whats left for about 3 weeks when i get my helmet back.If you still need some touch up then i'll send you a bit(if there is any left).

Thanks Cowboy, that would be far too kind! I still have to call Kawasaki Canada tomorrow to see if they can help. Kawasaki U.S. said they have no info on it and that color-rite used to make the touch-up colors for them.
