Valves clearance ??? miles to check them ?
Hi Guys,
I wonder what's the miles clearance to start to take a look at them ? how many miles ??
some good mechanical guys said check at 18000 kms instead of 12000 kms ???
what do you think about ??

I've heard of lots of guys checking them at 13k miles and finding nothing needed to be adjusted

I believe they are to be checked at 10000kms (7k miles) ? per the service manual... mine were just checked and were fine.

I checked mine at 7500 miles. Everything was fine. Put Akro and PCIIIR on at 9000 miles. For shits and grins I checked them at 11800 miles and two were out of spec. Too tight. I pulled the motor and re-adjusted all the valves so they are right in the middle of the spec range. All things are good now
