Help with my muzzy pipe install.........duh.
As we speek I am installing a (new to me)2 month old muzzy stainless pipe on my 12. I did not get any directions with it but it seems none were needed as its is pretty simple. (even for me) But...... I canot figure out if the pipe mounts to the hanger on the inside, or the outside, as the stock one does. The pipe seems to not want to go out far enough to mount like the stock one. I sure don't want to force it....HELP.....thanks I hope this is a clear question

On the outside of rear
peg hanger, then washer and nut. But, what ever you do, do not lossen or adjust the Muffler clamp as it is set up at the factory. Hang the complete system, then tighten the header bolts first, attach the springs, then finally, tighten the Muffler hanger bolt.

Aluminum mufflers hang on the inside of the bracket, Oval ti or carbon on the outside. Play with the rotation of the mid section to find the spot that misses the swingarm and does not contact the fairing. We supply asbestos heat tape with the system to apply to the inside of the fairing to prevent burning.

Titanium should not be wrapped.
