lambda sensor + data logger
I've been talking with one of my friend to hook a wide band lambda sensor and laptop with measurement card (about 10 analog channels) to ZX12. Idea of course being to tune it better with power commander. So I'm asking from those that have done the same that how did You hook up the datalogger to the wiring harness? Is there a source to get the same kind of connetors or do You need to tinker?

Maybe dynojet can send you the connectors and pins from one of the defective returned units. ?

get an LM-1 from DaveO and hooking it up is a breeze

I would not say Breeze unless you are only using an O2 sensor. the TPS, EGT, RPM, Duty Cycle are not that easy to deal with. (Maybe it is Comparative!)

Yeah that is what we are trying to complish with our own hardware. The problem is how You hook Your system to the wiring. Cleanist would be with OEM style connectors but how You get them? How the LM-1 system is hooked up? Any experiences? We're thinking about TPS, RPM, temperature, Airpressure, gear and maybe still something else...

I hooked all of that up by using the wire Stripper that gives a small space in the middle of the wire and soldered it in

hooking it up is a snap ONCE you know the right wire to tap into 
also you need to calibrate the software for recording pressure, temp, TPS so that it reads correctly; again, this is real easy once you know how to do it. The recorder simply records 0-5v DC, the software converts the voltage into psi, degreesF/C, %open for TPS.
(but i am sure you know all that )
Vince is right on the stripper; makes yr life MUCH easier.

Yeah. I thought so that I have to tinker to the original wiring to get the logger hooked up. Was just hoping that there would be a place where You could get the OEM style connectors so You wouldn't have to strip the wiring...
And yes we're goingto make our own program to "translate" the electric to real wordl physical measurements.
