A Tribute to Y2K ZX12R

To Y2K:

I am very impressed how you have disected every inch of the ZX12R engine over the years.. Everything to the ignition advance, cam timing, base gaset, cylinder head flow.. Your modification which probably everybody has used has helped all of us kick but on the streets. We should all be thankful for you knowledge..

I for one have gone back and read most all his post. It was highly recommended reading by Dan Millholland. I'm chomping the bits to follow along on the stroker build up he's doing NOW! It all depends on me striking a deal to secure Lucky as a donor for the project

Thanks for the kind words. In the bigginning i just wanted everyone to be happy with thier zx12r. As many of you guys remember it got a cold reception in the USA and alot of folks were having second thoughts about thier purchase after the rags put it down as unfinished, and 2nd place to the Busa. After a few mods the busa had nothing on the 12r.
Again thanks for the kind words.

What he needs to do is buy a 10r so he can investigate it.

Well, as I said before. As soon as otto65 wants more power i'll look into the 10r. So you guys have to egg him on a bit. Not that he needs any encouragement. At this point he has seen the crank and pistons for the 12r on the bench. So he knows whats up.
He's got shit on order for the 10r, I think.

So stay tuned for 10r power, on the cheep. Coming soon.

Now you are talking. Can't wait to see what you come up with. At the moment I am thinking about the thin head gasket to help restore some of my loss due to altitude and most likely an AreaP slip on.
