I just installed the '02 mirrors, changed the oil, installed the COX radiator guard, and hooked up the yellow box on my '00...looks good with the ZEROGravity double bubble...no time to ride tonite ...I hope the box was hooked up correctly :/...definitely ridin' tomorrow. ..maybe ddpete3 will shoot some digi-pics on our ride Thursday and he can post it for those who wonder what the '02 mirrors look like on the '00s-'01s...

I just went in...

...and my dealer had them!...actually, I bugged him about it last week and Kawasaki was 'out-of-stock'...and he told me that they are 'back-ordered again'...the part #s are:

56001-1574 MIRROR-ASSY, LH and 56001-1575 MIRROR-ASSY, RH...MSRP IS $125 EA (I didn't pay THAT!)...your results will vary...call RONAYERS..they could probably sell it for less than MSRP...

GOZR...I'll try to get ddpete3 to take some digi-pics tomorrow when we go on our ride...

those mirrors are nearly as ugly as the 00 01 zx 7 mirrors look better. they need to lay off the SAKI lunches over there

I liked the stock mirrors...I had the ZX-7R mirrors on it and I liked that, too...but I like the '02 mirrors better with the double bubble...and I like saki, too...must be the Japanese in me

WOOHOO!

...the '02 mirrors worked well...I actually get to see a part of the 12's tail section with these, which means I can see almost directly behind me...crystal clear, too...the better to see who's about to past me ...the radiator guard worked well, too...just remember to get bolts that are a tad longer but not so long that it goes past the captured nut (the one on the bike, not you )...and the yellow box worked, too...gotta go find one of the radar trailers on the side of the road to do some fine tuning...I set it using the 14.25% fastcalibration for my 17/48 combo...JATO12R's pure stock 12R traveled approximately 3 more miles that I did on the same distance...ok, you math whizzes...where should I go from here with the calibration?...tick tock tick tock tick tock

It's simple.

I just took the inverse natural log of the ratio of calculated velocity divided by the maximum theoretical velocity in a vacuum @ sea level correcting for all frictional losses normally associated with coefficients of drag.
