I couldn't get mine off until I used an Impact gun.

That DAMN countersprocket!

I had to go to a buddy of mine's gas station to have the countersprocket broke loose for the first time on my old 7R. On my 12R. I had to have my daughter's boyfriend (his 30, former army, etc.) hold my bike and the rear brake, with it in gear and I had to use a 3' "cheater bar" on my 1/2" drive ratchet.

Even though the torque specs are pretty high, it makes one wonder WHAT THE HELL do they use at the factory?

They Must use

Their chicken choking hand to tighten that nut! I wouldn't put it in gear if I was you.

It's very easy with an impact gun. Without it, I was needing to put enough shit on it that I was afraid I was going to damage something if I tried any harder.
Find a way to beg, borrow, or steal an impact for this job.

Go purchase a $60 electric impact if you can't find an air impact. That will do the job if in a pinch.
